Collaboration with END. and NOMA t.d.

This three-way collaboration brought together END., Vans and Japanese textile label NOMA t.d., translating NOMA t.d.’s distinctive hand-drawn patterns and archival textiles across footwear and apparel.

As Lead Footwear Designer, I worked closely with the teams to develop the collection across the Authentic, Classic Slip-On and Sk8-Mid. A key part of my role was taking NOMA t.d.’s archival artwork and preparing and adapting it for footwear production, while also creating artwork that could be carried consistently into the wider apparel collection.

The result was a cohesive capsule that brought NOMA t.d.’s balance of traditional textile design and contemporary graphics into the world of Vans, using the footwear as a canvas for their distinctive floral and bandana-inspired patterns. I also developed the packaging to complete the collection.
