The Vans Tiger Pack was an inline concept exploring tiger imagery through the visual language of vintage souvenir jackets and military apparel.

Drawing from traditional embroidered souvenir graphics, I created original tiger artwork and translated it across the Authentic and Classic Slip-On. Military-inspired colours, ripstop and premium suede brought a utilitarian feel to the collection, contrasting with the more decorative embroidery.

The Authentic became the statement piece, using embroidery across the upper to create an almost fully illustrated surface, while the Slip-On concentrated the tiger artwork on the vamp as a more direct reference to the placement and composition found on vintage souvenir jackets.
