For this size? exclusive, we looked back through the Vans archive to revisit original colourways of the Authentic and Lampin, using them as the starting point for a contemporary two-shoe collection.
Working closely with the size? team, I reinterpreted the archival references through richer materials and updated colour blocking. Buttery suede, hairy suede overlays, contrast stitching and glossed foxing gave the shoes a more premium feel while retaining the character of the original designs.
Rather than simply reproducing the past, the project was about identifying what made those archive colourways special and translating that feeling into something relevant for today.
