The Needlework Collection was created in collaboration with size?, celebrating handcrafted techniques and DIY creativity through the Vans Anaheim Factory line. Working closely with the size? team, I designed the footwear and original graphic artwork for the collection.

Inspired by vintage embroidery and traditional needlework, I developed custom graphics that were translated into embroidered woven canvas uppers. Built on the Authentic 44 DX, the collection combined heritage Anaheim Factory details with contemporary craftsmanship, balancing intricate decoration with the simplicity of one of Vans’ most iconic silhouettes.

The project explored how traditional craft techniques could be reinterpreted for modern footwear while remaining true to Vans’ heritage. The collection launched as a limited size? exclusive and celebrated creativity through material, texture and storytelling.
