The Haunted Hotel pack was developed with size? as a two-shoe collection inspired by infamous hotels from horror, both real and fictional. Each silhouette became its own piece of storytelling, packed with details that rewarded a closer look.

The Old Skool drew from the fictional Overlook Hotel, using patterns, colours and interior references to capture its unsettling atmosphere. The Authentic took inspiration from Los Angeles’ Cecil Hotel, translating its Art Deco interiors and ornate detailing into the footwear.

I developed the graphics across both shoes, using full embroidery to give the patterns a rich, decorative quality. Details included custom leather tassels and aglets, hidden references and bespoke footbed artwork for which I even 3D modelled one of the hotel environments to create the final image.

The result was a pair of shoes that felt almost like miniature environments, using material, graphics and hidden details to tell two different stories around the same Haunted Hotel concept.
